This position offers a $2,000 (1 year stay-on agreement) or 4,000 (2 year stay-on agreement) Sign On Bonus with the agency! This bonus will be provided upon completion of a probationary period. Responsibilities: Under the supervision of the Correctional Assessment & Treatment Services (CATS) Coordinator, serves as a Master’s level professional clinician performing a wide range of therapeutic services for consumers in the Clinton County Jail. This position will conduct risk assessments, substance use assessments, case management needs assessments, formulate extensive discharge plans, and work closely with Peer Recovery Coaches and consumers to coordinate services in the community. Assesses functional and dysfunctional behavior, provides crisis intervention services, and provides direct substance use and/or co-occurring treatment via individual/group therapy to incarcerated individuals. May be responsible for coordination of substance use residential placements. Acts as liaison between CMH, Jail Medical Department and the Clinton County Jail. Assesses inmates in an effort to determine level of care or possible jail diversion to either the CEI system or the community. May need to maintain contact with probation officers and will be responsible for compliance with court orders and associated documentation. Maintains the jail’s electronic memo system. Responsible for carrying out all activities of the program/sub-unit in such a manner that fulfills CMHA-CEI’s mission, policies and procedures.
