About The Position
Baptist Medical Center is hiring a Mental Health Therapist to join our Behavioral Health team. This is a Full Time Day hybrid opportunity working 2 days in office and 3 days remote. The team member will be working with ages 5-64 in our Bridge Clinic at our Baptist Downtown campus. At Baptist Health, our Mental Health Therapist focus on the evaluation, treatment, and support of the mental and emotional well being of older adults often dealing with complex issues such as dementia, depression, anxeity, grief, or behavioral disturbances linked to cognitive decline or chrinic illness. Our Mental Health Therapists conduct intakes, assign diagnoses, and develop treatment plan for patients referred for mental health services. Provide treatment that is clinically necessary and evidence-based. Complete authorization requests as needed and maintain up-to-date medical records. Maintain state professional licensure and credentialing with insurance panels. Ability to develop rapport with patients; assess and diagnose patients using DSM criteria; develop a treatment plan; document treatment progress in keeping with Joint Commission standards; efficient use of EMR. Requirements
- A valid Florida LCSW/LMHC/LMFT is required for this role, registered interns will not be considered
