Job Description: We are Hiring Mental Health Therapists at Peace Hospital! Location: 2020 Newburg Road Louisville, KY 40205 Shift: First Shift, Part Time, Weekend Only About Us Peace Hospital, part of UofL Health, is a private, non-profit behavioral health hospital. One of the largest behavioral health facilities in the nation, Peace Hospital is known for providing care for children, adolescents, adults and senior adults, age 55 and older. Our Kosair for Kids Children’s Peace Center is the largest and most comprehensive private provider of youth inpatient behavioral health services in the country treating children and adolescents with behavioral health and co-occurring disorders. We have a partial hospitalization program for school-aged children and an inpatient specialty program for children and adolescents who have complex treatment needs, such as intellectual or developmental disabilities accompanied by acute behavioral and psychiatric symptoms. Job Summary This Mental Health Therapist is responsible for providing direct clinical behavioral health and/or substance use services to children, adolescent, adult and/or geriatric patients and families. Services include group therapy, family therapy, individual therapy, psychoeducation, discharge planning and coordinating with community, government and/or other behavioral health agencies for aftercare services. Requirements

  • Master’s degree in a behavioral health or human services related field
  • Current certification as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
  • Ability to complete Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) training and successful completion during new hire orientation
  • BLS required from American Heart Association

Nice To Haves

  • Two years of clinical experience in a behavioral health or human service setting
