About The Position

AMFM Healthcare is seeking a compassionate and reliable Mental Health Technician (Client Coordinator) to join their team. This role is crucial for empowering individuals on their journey to recovery, supporting them through challenging times, and making a meaningful impact on their lives. AMFM Healthcare was founded with the mission to prevent tragedies caused by untreated mental illness, creating a supportive environment for individuals struggling with severe mental health conditions. The adult residential program, A Mission For Michael, offers a personal and deeply compassionate healing experience in beautiful residential homes. A dedicated clinical team provides 24/7 care in a boutique setting with 6-8 clients per home. The comprehensive clinical programming includes individual and group therapy, as well as experiential therapies like art, music, and equine therapy. The organization prioritizes understanding each client's life story and personal history to craft unique treatment plans that address both symptoms and root causes. Requirements

  • Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED
  • Must pass ADP Selective Screening Services and any additional required background checks
  • Possess valid driver’s license with ability to be insured by our auto insurance policy which includes, but not limited to, the following requirements: 4 continuous years of driving experience, 21 years of age or older, less than 3 moving violations in the last 3 years, and no more than 1 major violation in the last 3 years.
  • Ability to work on a computer, walk/stand for long periods, lift up to 20 lbs., and navigate stairs
  • Strong communication skills with families, clients, and staff
  • Ability to remain professional, empathetic, and patient under pressure
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, and Google Suite

Responsibilities

  • Providing Direct Support – Assist clients with daily activities, ensuring a structured and supportive environment
  • Transportation & Safety – Safely transport clients to scheduled activities and medical appointments
  • Behavioral Observation – Monitor client behavior, document observations, and collaborate with clinical teams
  • Medication Support – Work with the nursing team to oversee medication self-administration
  • Environment Maintenance – Maintain cleanliness and organization within residential facilities
  • Facilitating Group Activities – Lead and document recovery-focused group sessions
  • Emergency Response – Adhere to safety protocols, conduct safety drills, and respond to crises as needed
