What You’ll Do Ensure Client Safety→ Conduct regular safety checks (every 15 minutes) in all living areas, bedrooms, and common spaces. Escort clients to activities, appointments, and outings as needed. Direct Client Engagement→ Stay present and accessible throughout the shift. Offer support, guidance, and encouragement in line with treatment goals. Crisis Support→ Intervene quickly and compassionately during moments of distress, using de-escalation techniques and involving clinical staff when appropriate. Monitor & Document→ Observe client behavior and mood, recording updates in the electronic medical record (EMR: Kipu). Report concerns to the clinical/nursing team promptly. Uphold Standards→ Enforce program rules and reinforce a safe, respectful environment consistent with ABH’s values. Team Collaboration→ Partner with therapists, case managers, nurses, and supervisors to ensure seamless, high-quality care. Who You Are Compassionate, professional, and reliable — clients can depend on you. Able to stay alert, engaged, and responsive throughout overnight shifts. Skilled in handling stressful situations with calmness and quick thinking. Comfortable facilitating groups and interacting with clients in a professional, supportive manner. QualificationsMinimum Qualifications & Requirements High School Diploma required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred. Previous experience in a behavioral health or SUD facility preferred. Crisis experience preferred. Presentation and group facilitation skills, with the ability to speak confidently to groups of clients on mental health, recovery, or wellness topics. Valid California Driver’s License required. Must pass a LiveScan criminal background check as required by licensing authorities. CPR & First Aid Certification required. Requirements

  • High School Diploma required
  • Valid California Driver’s License required
  • Must pass a LiveScan criminal background check as required by licensing authorities.
  • CPR & First Aid Certification required.
