Schedule Commitment Full Time: 8 hour shifts 64 to 80 biweekly hours Every other weekend Every other holiday Day: 7:00am – 3:30pm Evening: 3:00pm – 11:30pm Night: 11:00pm – 7:30am Part Time: 8 hour shifts 32 – 40 biweekly hours Every other weekend Every other holiday Day: 7:00am – 3:30pm Evening: 3:00pm – 11:30pm Night: 11:00pm – 7:30am PRN: 8 hour shift Day: 7:00am – 3:30pm Evening: 3:00pm – 11:30pm Night: 11:00pm – 7:30am 24 hrs Weekend per 6 wk schedule 1 winter / 1 summer Schedules are available 6 weeks in advance. The work schedule commitment for this position requires the following:

Requirements

For Philadelphia County Jefferson campuses - Completion of a supervised mental health or addiction practicum and completion of 12 college credits in the social sciences + 2 years of experience in mental health or addictions care required.
Or Bachelor’s degree in humanities or social services + 1 year of experience in mental health or addictions care.
BLS required based on organizational guidelines/polices.
Behavioral management training in accordance with campus policy.

Responsibilities

Assists the RN in delivering care, observing patient behaviors, and more.
Reports/documents any changes in patients mood or behavior in a timely fashion.
Provides one-on-one sessions with assigned patients as needed.
Mental Health Technicians will maintain a full patient caseload with an assigned primary nurse in an inpatient setting and provide care for all patients effectively and compassionately.
