About The Position

Lincoln Trail Behavioral Health System is looking for a dynamic Mental Health Tech! The Mental health Technician is responsible for performing delegated assignments to meet the age specific physical, social, and behavioral needs of the patients. The MHT provides routine non-acute physical, behavioral, and mental care to the patient on the milieu under the direction of licensed staff. Universal Health Services, Inc. Lincoln Trail Behavioral Health System’s quality services are provided by psychiatrists, licensed therapists, certified alcohol and drug counselors, activity therapists and teachers. Also, care is given by registered nurses 24 hours a day. Requirements

  • High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED)
  • Experience in direct patient care AND/OR
  • Completion of Nursing Assistant Training/previous psychiatric experience preferred
