About The Position

Wood Violet Recovery is a privately owned, voluntary residential program located in southwest Wisconsin, serving adults aged 18–64 who are working toward recovery from addiction. The center provides a safe, supportive space for healing and aims to help individuals achieve lasting sobriety. As a Mental Health RN, you will be a vital part of both the Substance Use Disorder (SUD) and mental health programs. Your role will involve providing medical support to clients through medication administration, lab processing, and treatment planning. You will work as part of a collaborative team that includes clinical staff, LPNs, RNs, and medical providers, all dedicated to supporting each client’s recovery journey.

Requirements

Valid RN license in the state of Wisconsin.
3-5 years of nursing experience, with at least 1 year in a psychiatric or equivalent environment.
1-3 years of experience utilizing Microsoft Excel at an intermediate/advanced level.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Knowledge of healthcare laws and regulations.
Ability to support and educate clients in early recovery.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred.

Responsibilities

Administer medications and complete appropriate documentation, including orders and refills.
Complete mental health intake and daily mental health assessments as scheduled.
Facilitate provider visits as scheduled and as needed.
Assist with initial detox treatment and discharge planning.
Educate clients on medications, health, and wellness.
Collaborate with providers, RNs, LPNs, and clinical staff.
Communicate with families/support networks as needed.
Respond to medical emergencies and support continuity of care.
