In partnership with twenty-six Counties and Mental Health Departments across California, Psynergy provides rehabilitation and specialty mental health services to individuals afflicted with complex and chronic mental illness. We do this in an enriched residential environment where through support, skill-building and treatment clients have created thriving environments and communities of care. Our adjoining outpatient clinics provide and support the highest levels of service to our clients. We are looking for exceptional team members who can help us build and maintain the highest standards of care in both residential and clinical treatment! We are seeking an experienced Mental Health Rehabilitation Specialist (MHRS) with experience working in a treatment environment supporting individuals diagnosed with a chronic mental illness (ex: schizophrenia, schizoaffective disorder, bipolar disorder, depression, PTSD). As a Rehab Specialist, you will be part of an amazing team of Mental Health Service Providers, Nurses, Therapists and Psychiatrists providing the highest level of outpatient treatment to this underserved population.
Requirements
- Full Vaccination against COVID-19 – CA required.
- At least 8 years of Mental Health experience—combination of education and experience is okay.
- Great attitude - required.

- Experience working in Mental Health or in residential care - preferred.
Responsibilities
- Working with a caseload of approximately 25 clients who live in one residential setting.
- Providing individual and group rehabilitation services
- Facilitating groups including Equine, DBT, CBT, DRA, Grief, and Loss
- Providing case management
- Linking clients to outside community resources including ID, benefits, and outpatient appointments
- Conducting risk assessments
- Providing crisis intervention services
- Helping clients develop healthy connections and activities.
- Assisting clients maintain a regular daily schedule of healthy activities.
- Providing therapeutic support and redirection through verbal and non-verbal de-escalation techniques
- Providing behavioral Interventions like properly setting boundaries and providing redirection and support
- Participating in multi-disciplinary meetings
- Helping clients safely access the community.
