About The Position

At Gateway to Recovery, we don’t just provide services; we build bridges to independence. As a Mental Health Rehabilitation Specialist , you are the boots-on-the-ground advocate for adults and Transitional Aged Youth (TAY) navigating the path to recovery. Using the Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) model, you will provide "whole-person" care that goes beyond a clinic wall, meeting members where they are—in their homes, in the community, and in their moments of greatest need. Empowerment through Advocacy: Manage a dedicated caseload using Recovery Philosophy and Evidence-Based practices to help members reclaim their hopes and dreams. Collaborative Care: Act as the primary link between members and vital community resources, including the Public Defender’s Office, Protective Services, and County Mental Health. Crisis & Stabilization: Provide high-impact crisis intervention and trauma-informed care to ensure member safety and stability. Family Support: Educate and partner with families to create a sustainable support network for our members. Schedule: Full-Time | 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM | Monday - Friday Expected starting wage range is $26.50 - $32.50. Telecare applies geographic differentials to its pay ranges. The pay range assigned to this role will be based on the geographic location from which the role is performed. Starting pay is commensurate with relevant experience above the minimum requirements.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, Human Services or Social Services and two (2) years of experience providing direct services in Mental Health; or Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, Human Services or Social Services and four (4) years of experience providing direct services in Mental Health; or an Associate’s Degree and six (6) years of experience providing direct services in Mental Health
  • Valid and current driver’s license, and personal vehicle insurance with your name listed as a driver.
  • Willingness to use your personal and the company vehicle to drive clients to appointments and groups, etc. (personal mileage is reimbursed along the IRS rate)
