About The Position
Mental Health Registered Nurse (RN) Location: St. Louis, MO 63112 Contract: 5-Month Assignment A mental health facility is hiring RNs with psychiatric experience to support inpatient behavioral health services. Schedule: 12-hour shifts (Days or Nights) 6:00–6:30 schedule with meal break included
Requirements
- 1 year psychiatric or correctional nursing
- 1 year travel RN experience
- Active MO RN license
Responsibilities
- Conduct psychiatric assessments
- Administer and evaluate medication response
- Utilize crisis intervention techniques
- Promote a safe therapeutic environment
- Maintain compliance with mental health regulations
