Dungarvin is a national provider of support services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, including those with mental health, behavioral, and complex medical needs. Since 1976, the organization has been committed to enhancing the quality of life for these individuals, guided by a mission of respecting and responding to their choices. Dungarvin operates across fifteen states, empowering people with disabilities to live meaningful lives on their own terms through individualized service plans funded by Medicaid and Community Support Waivers. In this role, the Mental Health Program Director (MHPD) is responsible for coordinating and supervising one to two residential programs that specialize in supporting individuals with challenging behavioral and mental health needs. Key priorities include supervising and training mental health specialists and ensuring all aspects of the program are developed, implemented, coordinated, and monitored to the highest degree possible.
