About The Position
Centurion is proud to be the provider of comprehensive healthcare services to the Florida Department of Corrections. We are currently seeking a full-time Mental Health Professional to join our team at Suwannee Correctional Institution located in Live Oak, Florida. The Mental Health Professional provides mental health case management services to patients in a correctional setting and consults with a multi-disciplinary team in providing comprehensive mental health care, including: intake and assessments, crisis intervention, treatment planning, and providing individual and group therapy. The schedule is Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm 4-10 hour shifts also available
Requirements
- Fully licensed LMHC, LCSW, or LMFT preferred
- Registered Mental Health Counselor Interns are encouraged to apply
- License-eligible candidates will also be considered; candidates must obtain licensure prior to the start date if hired
- Must show current tuberculosis documentation and active CPR certification
- Must be able to pass a background investigation and obtain agency security clearance where applicable
