Mental Health Professional - Wellness Inn
About The Position
Pilsen Wellness Center, Inc. is a community-based not-for-profit agency that provides culturally sensitive services to a multicultural population with limited financial resources. The organizations mission has remained providing quality human services to economically disadvantaged children and families. The agency is comprised of five divisions - Mental Health, Substance Abuse, Youth Services, Early Intervention and Education which are currently supported through 17 different locations. The Wellness Inn Residential is a supervised residential program 24 hours a day for persons diagnosed with a mental illness. We are seeking a Full-Time Mental Health Professional at our Wellness Inn located at 2316 South Damen Avenue Chicago, Illinois 60608 . This individual will contribute to the implementation of the participants' service plans, specifically designed to increase the participants' skills in independent daily living, independent economic self-sufficiency and community integration/reintegration, which may include an array of services and interventions designed to provide treatment, habitation training and other integration services.
Requirements
- Bachelor Degree in Psychology or a related field OR 5 years’ experience in the Mental Health Field
- Valid Driver's License required
Nice To Haves
- Familiarity with Medicaid Rule 132 desired
- Bilingual (Spanish) preferred
