Requirements
- Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.
- Valid state licensure (LPC, LCSW, LMFT, etc.) or proof of eligibility for licensure.
- Experience providing therapy in a clinical setting preferred.
- Strong understanding of various therapeutic modalities (CBT, DBT, EMDR, etc.).
- Excellent communication, listening, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage a diverse caseload and maintain accurate records.
- Compassionate and non-judgmental approach to client care.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
Nice To Haves
- Experience working with specific populations (e.g., children, adolescents, LGBTQ+ community, etc.).
- Bilingual skills are a plus.
Responsibilities
- Conduct intake assessments and develop individualized treatment plans based on clients' needs and goals.
- Provide individual, couple, family, and group therapy sessions using evidence-based therapeutic techniques.
- Monitor and document client progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
- Establish and maintain a trusting therapeutic relationship with clients.
- Educate clients about mental health issues and coping strategies.
- Collaborate with other health professionals, social services, and community organizations as needed to coordinate care.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical and legal guidelines regarding client treatment and documentation.
- Stay updated on best practices, industry trends, and continuing education opportunities.
- Participate in clinical meetings, training sessions, and professional development activities.
