Requirements

• Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.
• Valid state licensure (LPC, LCSW, LMFT, etc.) or proof of eligibility for licensure.
• Experience providing therapy in a clinical setting preferred.
• Strong understanding of various therapeutic modalities (CBT, DBT, EMDR, etc.).
• Excellent communication, listening, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage a diverse caseload and maintain accurate records.
• Compassionate and non-judgmental approach to client care.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

Nice To Haves

• Experience working with specific populations (e.g., children, adolescents, LGBTQ+ community, etc.).
• Bilingual skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct intake assessments and develop individualized treatment plans based on clients' needs and goals.
• Provide individual, couple, family, and group therapy sessions using evidence-based therapeutic techniques.
• Monitor and document client progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
• Establish and maintain a trusting therapeutic relationship with clients.
• Educate clients about mental health issues and coping strategies.
• Collaborate with other health professionals, social services, and community organizations as needed to coordinate care.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical and legal guidelines regarding client treatment and documentation.
• Stay updated on best practices, industry trends, and continuing education opportunities.
• Participate in clinical meetings, training sessions, and professional development activities.
