Looking for a successful and fulfilling career in mental health? NWHS is seeking a highly competent behavioral health / mental health counseling practicum and intern students to work with our West Salem Clinic Mental Health team.

In this intern position you will learn to provide mental health counseling services to individuals, couples, families, and groups, will assess the nature and extent of a client's MH and COD presenting problems, and formulates a plan for service that will address MH and COD issues.

Requirements

• Must be enrolled in Master's degree program in counseling, social work, and/or other degree in mental health field
• Must be participating in graduate course work in theory, diagnosis, and treatment of mental health disorders
• Must be willing to work with persons who have mental health issues and those who are in emotional distress
• Affiliation Agreement with your school and NWHS is required
• Malpractice/Liability insurance is required
