Provides counseling and support services to students in a primary or secondary school setting. Provides mental health consultation services to build the capacity of those caring for young children. Partners with early care and education providers and families to address the social/behavioral/mental health needs of children and families. Works with a focus on providing early intervention and prevention services to improve emotional well-being, coping skills, general adaptive functioning, and social competence of children and families. Acts in accordance with department mission, philosophy, and goals.
