Job Title: Mental Health Clinician Division/Program: Youth FSP Starting Compensation: 75000 - 85000 USD Per Year Working Location: Fresno, CA and surrounding cities within Fresno County Working Hours/Shift: Monday-Friday 8 AM-5 PM, working hours are approximate and may include flexibility as needed to meet client needs. One (1) year direct service experience in a mental health setting required (student internship and/or practicum time may be substituted). Mental Health Specialist II: Licensed as AMFT, ACSW, or APCC required. Mental Health Specialist III: Licensed as LMFT, LCSW, or LPCC required. Valid California Driver’s License required and must meet Agency driver eligibility criteria. How you will make a difference: Identifies immediate risks and needs of clients served and develops a plan to address them in collaboration with the treatment team. Identifies ongoing treatment needs, diagnoses, and updates problem list as needed. Facilitates treatment team meetings, including ICC and CFT Meetings as needed. Provides services, including individual, family, and group therapy and collateral, to youth and families, as deemed necessary and appropriate through the assessment process and in collaboration with the treatment team. Services are to be short-term, as longer-term services and resources are identified. Provides crisis intervention, assesses risk, and initiates an involuntary psychiatric 5150 hold if they meet significant safety criteria. Provides case management and linkage services to clients. Provides services in various settings, including homes, schools/work, community, and office settings. Uses a personal vehicle to drive to and from off-site locations to provide services. May be required to transport clients and/or family members in a personal vehicle. Requirements
