Mary Bridge Children’s multi-disciplinary approach to care includes pediatric experts for emergency services, inpatient care, and outpatient specialty clinics, all specializing in kids and their unique needs. Job Profile Summary The Mary Bridge Mental Health Clinician-SW I is responsible for assisting pediatric patients and their families in addressing the social, psychological, developmental and economic impacts of illness, injury and chronic disease. As part of an interdisciplinary team, and to promote optimal health outcomes, the MHC-SW completes comprehensive assessment and provides support and resources to identify and intervene regarding patient/family needs related to: mental health, trauma, environmental and caregiver safety; child abuse and neglect; trauma; grief and loss; adjustment to injury/illness; food, shelter and other basic needs; education and developmental needs, and parenting resource needs. The MHC-SW joins with patients and their families in identifying solutions to problems that serve barriers as to disease management. The PHP-SW partners with physicians, schools, law enforcement, Children’s Administration, community mental health providers and other service providers in the community to ensure well-coordinated care across the health care continuum. Requirements

  • Master’s Degree in Social Work (MSW)
  • Licensed in the state of Washington
  • Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW)
  • Minimum three (3) years post MSW
  • Hospital or equivalent experience
