About The Position

Our Adult Outpatient Program (AOP) is designed to meet adults exactly where they are, supporting individuals living with mental health challenges, substance use disorders, and co-occurring conditions with care that is both personalized and purposeful. Using evidence-based, solution-focused approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), our clinicians help create meaningful change in a shorter amount of time. We proudly serve both voluntary clients and those who are legally involved, offering a supportive, judgement-free space focused on growth, accountability, and forward movement. AOP provides a comprehensive range of services, including individual, couples, family, and group therapy; mandated programs; case management; assessments; relapse prevention; neurofeedback; acudetox; trauma informed interventions for PTSD; and DUI/DWAI education and therapy. Every service is rooted in our commitment to empowering clients with practical tools, insight, and confidence to navigate life’s challenges. This position includes eligibility for a monthly performance bonus.

Requirements

  • Have a Masters Degree in a Social Work, Clinical Mental Health Counseling, Addictions Counseling, Rehabilitation Counseling, or other relevant clinical degree from an accredited college of university.
  • Have a valid driver’s license and an insurable driving record.
  • Can successfully complete pre-employment screening, including background check, fingerprinting, and drug and TB testing.

Responsibilities

  • Provide person-centered assessment, goal planning, and treatment for mental health and/or substance use issues.
  • Provide screening, intakes, and assessment of clients utilizing required instruments and formats within appropriate timelines.
  • Develop strength-based written treatment plans/updates and continuing care plans and make appropriate referrals.
  • Complete written discharge summaries and correspondence within established timelines.
  • Assist individuals in improving their well-being and quality of life by training in behavioral skills; educate clients to make information choices; develop client coping skills; help clients to problem solve and negotiate tasks of daily living.
  • Maintain electronic health records in accordance with agency standards; confirm coding of services rendered is ethically appropriate and results in successful billing.
  • Learn, utilize, and support fidelity of any evidence-based practices within assigned program to ensure effective interventions with clints.
