Job Title: Mental Health Clinician / Therapist Division/Program: TAY FSP Program Starting Compensation: 75000 - 80000 USD Per Year Working Location: Travel within Fresno County required Working Hours/Shift: Monday-Thursday or Tuesday-Friday (10 hours per day/40 hours per week). Employee Recognition & Rewards : A culture that celebrates and rewards your hard work and dedication What you bring to SBHG: One (1) year direct service experience in a mental health setting required (student internship and/or practicum time may be substituted). Experience in a community-based therapy setting preferred. Mental Health Specialist II: Licensed as AMFT, ACSW, or APCC required. Mental Health Specialist III: Licensed as LMFT, LCSW, or LPCC required. Valid California Driver’s License required and must meet Agency driver eligibility criteria. How you will make a difference: Assumes primary clinical role for youth/TAY and families. Identifies immediate risks and needs of youth/TAY and family and develops a plan to address them in collaboration with the treatment team. Identifies ongoing treatment needs and develops plans, diagnoses, and updates problem lists as needed. Provides services, including individual, family, and group therapy and collateral, to youth/TAY and their families, as deemed necessary and appropriate through the assessment process and in collaboration with the treatment team. Services are to be short-term as longer-term services and resources are identified. Available for 24/7 on-call services to assist in crisis intervention and to provide support for problem resolution. On-call is scheduled on a rotating basis. Uses a “whatever it takes” approach to provide services in various settings, including homes, schools/work, and community and office settings. Uses personal vehicle to drive to and from offsite locations to provide services. May be required to transport participants and/or family members in a personal vehicle.
