About The Position

Mental Health Associate - Overnight Shift Opportunity This is a Full Time (32 or 40hrs/week) or Part Time (24 hours/week) position and requires working every other weekend. This position is on the overnight shift and offers a full benefits package. A competitive shift differential is offered for overnights and weekends. Requirements

High School diploma or equivalent required, Bachelor's Degree is preferred
Excellent communication & interpersonal skills
Impeccable Judgment & professionalism
Ability to maintain composure in a crisis situation

Nice To Haves

College student who have obtained or are pursuing their degree in behavioral health, psychology, or human services are preferred

Responsibilities

Ensure a safe and therapeutic environment
Provide routine patient care as required in a psychiatric environment
Document and communicate unusual or erratic changes in client behaviors
Assist with patient groups and activities
With proper training, you will work with culturally and generationally diverse populations to meet their individual needs.
You will be trained on psychiatric group processes, age-specific care, trauma informed care, therapeutic boundaries, crisis intervention techniques, and CPR.
