Do you want experience in the mental health field? We offer a rewarding experience where you can apply your skills and passion for helping others to support clients with eating disorders. No previous experience with eating disorders? That’s okay! We are happy to train you on the information you'll need to best serve our clients. The Mental Health Rehabilitation Worker (MHRW) is an integral part of the rehabilitation of clients at Sunol Hills. The primary responsibilities include providing support and supervision to clients at our facility. This is a great position for someone looking to gain valuable experience in the mental health field! Unlike programs that are held in a psychiatric unit or hospital-like facility, Sunol Hills at Oakview is held in a natural home setting to better engage the individual in the recovery process. Our clients participate in a highly-structured recovery program and work with a team of specialists who help them resolve the behavioral or emotional issues associated with their eating disorder, and give them the tools necessary to help them work through future challenges and re-integrate back into the community. Please be advised that Sunol Hills at Oakview is taking every precaution to keep both clients and staff safe amid the COVID-19 pandemic. Incoming clients must receive a negative COVID test prior to admission, and staff are provided masks to wear at all times while onsite. We also maintain a thorough cleaning and sanitization schedule, conduct temperature checks, and currently limit visitors to solely parent/guardian meetings outdoors with clients.
