HRI Hospital is seeking Full Time Mental Health Advocates for the day and evening shift! Who We Are HRI Hospital is 66-bed psychiatric facility with adult inpatient services and several partial hospitalization programs. As a Mental Health Advocate, you will: Monitor patient safety on the inpatient psychiatric units Assist nursing staff with patient treatment procedures Ensure a safe and therapeutic environment Assist patients with activities of daily living Provide routine patient care as required in a psychiatric environment Document and communicate unusual or erratic changes in client behaviors Assist with patient groups and activities About Universal Health Services One of the nation's largest and most respected providers of hospital and healthcare services, Universal Health Services, Inc. Requirements
- High School diploma; Bachelor's Degree in human services field preferred
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Physical Fitness - Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
- Must be comfortable working with patient in acute psychiatric distress
Responsibilities
- Monitor patient safety on the inpatient psychiatric units
