About The Position

The YMCA of Orange County is a leading non-profit organization dedicated to strengthening communities through youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility. We are actively seeking highly engaged, reliable, and service-oriented individuals for a part-time Membership Services position. The Membership Services staff will help to create a welcoming experience for members while promoting programs that encourage health and wellness within our community. Location: Laguna Niguel Family YMCA Work Schedule: Looking for part-time staff during the week, availability during weekends preferred. Monday to Friday 5:00am - 10:00am Saturday to Sunday 6:30am - 3:00pm

Requirements

H.S. diploma or equivalent required
1 - 3 years' experience in sales, marketing, customer service, or a related field is preferred.
Knowledge of customer service, excellent communication skills, and PC ability required.
First Aid and CPR certifications required (training provided and paid for by the YMCA).

Nice To Haves

Experience in front desk position preferred.

Responsibilities

Serve as the primary contact, creating a warm and professional environment for all members. Handle all inquiries, payments, and concerns with care.
Actively engage with current and prospective members through facility tours and interviews to promote memberships and programs. Proactively generate new prospects through consistent follow-up, tracking, and collaboration with program teams
Uphold Honesty, Respect, and Responsibility while handling check-ins, cash management, and maintaining an organized lobby and workspace.
Perform essential clerical tasks, manage data entry/retrieval, communicate program details, and assist with registrations. Be proactive with knowledge of all program information and changes.
