We have an immediate need for a high-energy, hyper-organized, passionate Membership Sales Specialist to support our KidStrong Rancho Bernardo location's Presale. As the Membership Sales Specialist, you will be responsible for providing daily sales from leads for the Center. This critical position must have a solid understanding of sales and a passion to drive growth for the center. As the lead for the sales function, the Membership Sales Specialist must execute a lead generation/marketing strategies plan to increase sales. This person must pose a high caliber approach to organization and be a self-motivator that is hungry to meet and beat goals. This is a temporary, remote role, that may transition into a permanent role at Center Opening.

Requirements

  • Prior experience in outbound phone sales is strongly preferred (300+ calls/week is a typical outbound phone sales effort)
  • Strong sales mentality and comfortability with outbound sales efforts
  • Associate or bachelor's degree in business, education, or a related field.
  • Must have the ability to work a flexible schedule, including at least evenings and weekends. Sales happen outside of typical business hours.
  • Understanding of all performance metrics (KPIs), revenue, etc.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit with an open, participative leadership style and drive for excellence.
  • Strong work ethic, integrity, and professional demeanor.
  • Practical work experience using Microsoft Office products as well as G-Suite
  • Fitness, retail, and/or hospitality industry experience preferred.
  • Required to work at least three (3) weekday nights and two (2) weekend days (flexible with General Manager coverage).
  • Requires access to stable internet and computer in a quiet environment, suitable for make and receiving sales calls.

Responsibilities

  • Driving pre-opening membership sales through high-volume outbound phone calls on inbound leads
  • Provides excellent leadership and management to create a positive, successful environment for staff and clients.
  • Properly manages and exceeds all KidStrong sales and operational budgets.
  • Works closely with the KidStrong General Manager and Area Developer
  • Builds and maintains KidStrong class size through scheduling optimization.
  • Timely response and follow through with all KidStrong corporate/owner requests and client and lead requests
  • Enforces KidStrong corporate policies, business practices, systems and processes.
  • Provides and maintains the highest level of customer service.
  • Provides effective decision-making regarding customer service issues.
