About The Position

HFAC is seeking a highly organized, results-driven leader to join our team as Membership Sales & Marketing Manager at Hillsboro’s best athletic club. This is a hands-on, sales-focused role responsible for driving new member acquisition, managing lead follow-up, and executing marketing campaigns that convert. You will own the front end of the member journey: lead generation to membership sales to onboarding and member engagement. This leader ensures consistent follow-up, strong conversion rates, and a welcoming experience worth referring to friends and family for every member. This role also oversees local marketing efforts, community partnerships, and in-club promotions designed to drive traffic and engagement. The ideal candidate is a strong salesperson who thrives on daily production, is highly organized, and enjoys creating in a fast-paced, people-focused environment. Requirements

  • Proven experience in sales and marketing, with a strong track record of driving results
  • Prior experience leading staff, with the ability to hold others accountable to daily production goals
  • Highly organized with the ability to execute work independently, effectively organize work product for shared use, while also driving the performance of others
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to quickly learn and effectively use software systems, including CRM and operational platforms (GymSales, Club Automation, or similar)

Responsibilities

  • Drive new member sales by managing the team’s daily activity, including lead follow-up, appointment setting, tours, closing, and effective use of online joining
  • Manage and execute CRM workflows in GymSales (calls, texts, emails) to improve conversion at every stage of the sales funnel
  • Own and execute HFAC’s existing marketing plan, including coordination with digital ad and SEO vendors, email marketing in Mailchimp, and in-club promotions
  • Plan and lead community outreach and events (open houses, wellness seminars) to generate leads and increase member engagement
  • Oversee new member onboarding by bridging the Sales Team and Fitness Department to ensure strong early engagement and connection to club services
