About The Position

Sanford Health, the largest rural health system in the United States, is seeking a Membership Sales Associate for the Thief River Falls Wellness Center. This role is crucial for transforming the health care experience by providing access to world-class health care. The associate will be responsible for member interaction, including greeting, managing records, and providing program information. The position also involves facility maintenance, guiding emergency procedures, and ensuring a positive client experience. The schedule is varied, encompassing days, evenings, and weekends, with a compensation range of $15.00 - $23.00 per hour. The role is part-time, with 0 scheduled weekly hours, indicating a flexible or on-call nature.

Requirements

  • Computer skills sufficient to access and enter data and create documents
  • Oral and written communication skills sufficient to follow-up with customer questions and utilize knowledge of service area and system-wide procedures
  • Based on facility needs, may require Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and formal training on LifePak 250 (If not obtained at time of hire, will be formally trained)

  • Performs general cleanliness and maintenance of the facility
  • May assist with new memberships
  • Maintains membership access cards when applicable
  • Conducts tours and provides information regarding services and programs
  • Responsible for client experience
  • May assist with supervising member's correct form and technique, while assisting in the use of all equipment within the facility as needed
  • Assists with scheduling fitness center activities
  • May assist with orientating new employees
  • Oversees competency testing for all employees onboarding
  • Maintains supplies
  • Escalate concerns of facility and equipment maintenance when needed
  • Possesses and upkeeps knowledge on facility operations, programs and activities
  • Demonstrates skill in preparing and maintaining records
  • Displays ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with members, colleagues and the public
  • Reacts calmly and effectively in emergencies
  • Consistently maintains confidentiality of sensitive information
  • Formulates and implements decisions effectively
  • Exhibits organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines
  • Provides problem solving abilities and self-motivation to perform job responsibilities with little supervision
  • Operates, provides instruction and ensures correct use on all exercise equipment
  • Assists with new member entry into existing wellness programming
  • Ensures that new members are qualified by their level of exercise experience and condition of health, placing them in the most appropriate entry program
  • Responsible for membership attrition
  • Demonstrates detailed computer knowledge with ability to decipher account and billing information regarding members' accounts
  • Excels at providing professional, courteous interaction with customers
  • Demonstrates ability to work with several customers and handle phone inquiries at once
  • Utilizes excellent communication skills with both internal teams and clients of the Wellness Center
