About The Position

This position provides comprehensive member service, maintaining the checkout area, resolving member issues and concerns, and promoting Sam's Club products and services. The role involves guiding members with self-service technology, processing purchases, and assisting with payments, returns, refunds, and exchanges according to company policies. Key responsibilities also include ensuring safety by following company standards, conducting safety sweeps, and reporting unsafe situations. The specialist maintains entrance and exit areas, verifies membership, assists with purchasing decisions, locates merchandise, and helps with transporting items, all while maintaining a safe shopping environment. Additionally, the role involves safeguarding company assets, maintaining documentation, executing emergency procedures, and ensuring compliance with security and safety practices. The Member Specialist also assists in training Member Frontline Services associates on company processes, new technology, and program rollouts, fostering continuous learning and process improvement. The position requires adherence to company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity, including using the Open Door Policy. It involves completing work assignments by collaborating with various partners, identifying priorities, communicating progress, and adapting to feedback.
