About The Position

Under the direction and supervision of the Member Services Supervisor, this position performs various clerical functions outlined in the duties and responsibilities area listed below. This is a front-line position in one of the most central areas of the Park District requiring multi-tasking abilities. This position’s weekly schedule is as follows: Tuesday-Saturday, Tuesday-Thursday 2:30pm-10:30pm, Friday 10:30am-6:30pm, and Saturday 9:30am-5:30pm

Requirements

  • Two years of customer service and/or sales related experience required, preferably in an office, recreation, health club, hospitality, or related environment.
  • High School diploma is required.
  • Ability to consistently communicate in a friendly, professional fashion with employees and patrons both in person and on the telephone.
  • Must consistently demonstrate good public relations and tact and manage multiple tasks.
  • This position requires the ability to obtain and retain a thorough knowledge of the district’s recreation programs, memberships, and facilities.
  • Patience must be demonstrated in a continuous manner when working with the public and fellow employees.
  • Current CPR, AED and First Aid certifications are required or ability to obtain them within sixty days of hire date

Nice To Haves

  • Supervisory experience preferred.
