About the role Opens accounts for members, resolves issues and professionally handles ongoing member needs. Performs a variety of transactional services while providing members with a high degree of customer service and accuracy. Responds to member requests and provides information by phone, email or in person. Promotes and cross-sells a full range of credit union products and services. How does this role make an impact? - Greets and welcomes members and visitors to the credit union in a courteous, professional and timely manner. Provides prompt, accurate and efficient service in the processing of transactions.- Opens new accounts and services existing accounts. Sets up new account files and provides members with all necessary information for membership.- Promotes and cross-sells a wide variety of credit union products and services based on member needs. - Establishes and assists with safe deposit boxes, U.S. savings bonds and share certificates. - Maintains checking account supplies, including ordering checks, as assigned. - Serves as back up to call center representatives as needed. Do you have what we're looking for? Typically requires 1+ years of relevant experience. - This job operates in a credit union environment and routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, calculators, scanners and copy machines.- Regularly works varied daytime hours and every third Saturday with occasional overtime. - Occasional lifting of up to 20 pounds (e.g., safety deposit boxes).
