About The Position

The Member Services Assistant works under the direct supervision of the Wellness Engagement Manager. This role requires a friendly and positive attitude when interacting with all members and guests, both in person and over the phone. The assistant is responsible for ensuring the best possible service by staying informed about all programs and activities within the center, and holding themselves and others accountable for delivering excellent service.

Requirements

  • Certified Auto External Defibrillator (AED) - American Heart Association/American Red Cross/American Safety and Health Institute (AHA/ARC) within 30 Days

Nice To Haves

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 1 year Hospitality or related experience

Responsibilities

  • Handles all incoming telephone calls and transfers to the appropriate person, takes messages as needed.
  • Responsible for membership information and provides/collects membership paperwork.
  • Handles registration of all programs (massage, swim lessons, summer/winter camp, tennis, group exercise, etc.)
  • Greets and checks in all members and guests as they enter and exit the facility and verifies memberships.
  • Maintains knowledge of all programs and special event offerings at the wellness center to provide accurate information on classes and programs.
  • Balances the cash drawer at the end of each shift and completes relevant documentation.
