About The Position

Our customer-focused client is seeking a friendly and dependable Member Service Representative to support members both in person and over the phone. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys helping people, multitasking in a service-oriented environment, and delivering a consistently positive experience. The Member Service Representative serves as a key point of contact for members, assisting with account needs, transactions, and general inquiries while maintaining a high level of professionalism and accuracy.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Prior customer service experience preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office or similar software
  • Ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings and weekends as needed

Responsibilities

  • Assist members in-branch and by phone with a wide range of service needs
  • Handle member transactions including payments, renewals, new memberships, and account updates
  • Prepare customized travel materials and provide maps, guides, and related resources
  • Take member calls throughout the day and assist with service inquiries
  • Cross-sell applicable products and services and work toward monthly sales goals
  • Maintain accurate member records and update account information as requested
  • Assist with inventory tracking of accountable items when assigned
  • Balance daily transactions and complete end-of-day closeout procedures
  • Maintain a professional, courteous demeanor with members, coworkers, and vendors
  • Support additional duties as assigned to ensure excellent member service
