About The Position

Premier Cooperative is seeking a dependable, customer‑focused Member Service Representative to support our Agronomy division. This unique role offers full‑time hours during the busy agronomy season and reduced part‑time hours in the off‑season, making it a great fit for someone who enjoys variety, member interaction, and supporting local agriculture year‑round. The Member Service Representative plays a key part in delivering excellent service to member‑owners, supporting agronomy operations, coordinating logistics, and keeping seasonal workflows running smoothly.

Requirements

  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, seasonal environment.
  • Basic computer proficiency (Outlook, Excel, internal systems).
  • Reliability, accuracy, and excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to sit, stand, and communicate for extended periods.
  • Occasional light lifting (up to 25 lbs).
  • Work is primarily office-based, with some exposure to operational/agronomy environments.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in agriculture, agronomy, co-op operations, or customer service.
  • Understanding of crop inputs, custom application, or seasonal agronomy workflows.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and assist member‑owners, customers, and vendors in person and by phone.
  • Provide accurate information regarding agronomy products, services, billing, scheduling, and seasonal programs.
  • Enter work orders, delivery requests, service tickets, and product sales accurately.
  • Process payments, maintain receipts, and assist with questions related to accounts.
  • Assist with scheduling custom application, tendering, and product delivery during peak season.
  • Communicate daily with applicators, drivers, and agronomy team members.
  • Prepare and process seasonal paperwork, blending sheets, application logs, and compliance documentation.
  • Support inventory management through data entry, basic tracking, and reconciling incoming/outgoing product.
  • Assist with dispatching or coordinating field staff as needed during busy periods.
  • Maintain organized records, forms, logs, and daily documentation.
  • Support hiring paperwork, seasonal onboarding, and coordination with HR as needed.
  • Assist with safety documentation, training compliance checks, and seasonal reporting.
  • Contribute to positive teamwork and uphold co-op values.
  • Full-time hours with occasional extended or weekend shifts depending on weather and workload.
  • Work in a fast‑paced environment supporting applicators, tendering operations, and daily logistics.
  • High volume of member interactions and time-sensitive operational coordination.
