Member Service Representative (Part-Time)

Job Description The Auto-Owners Associates Credit Union (AOACU) serves the financial needs of associates and retirees of Auto-Owners Insurance Company. The AOACU Credit Union Support team is looking for a motivated, part-time Member Service Representative (MSR) to join their team. The MSR is responsible for providing friendly and professional service to our members, as well as: Building trusting relationships with members and providing them with high quality and accurate member service Efficiently processing daily work in a multi-tasking environment Opening new accounts, servicing existing accounts and responding to member requests Processing, preparing and closing installment loans Providing in-person or by-telephone general and specific service-related information concerning credit union services Assisting with other duties within the department as needed
Requirements
- High school diploma and /or 1 or more years of equivalent Bank/Credit Union work experience and knowledge of Bank/Credit Union products, services and processes
- Ability to work quickly and independently with attention to detail and sensitivity to deadlines
- Exhibit strong levels of organization and communication skills
- Ability to communicate effectively in oral and written forms
- Ability to use good problem resolution skills
- Regular and predictable attendance
Responsibilities
- Building trusting relationships with members and providing them with high quality and accurate member service

- Opening new accounts, servicing existing accounts and responding to member requests
