At North Star Community Credit Union, our Member Services Representatives are the heart of the member experience. In this role, you will provide friendly, accurate, and professional service while assisting members with everyday financial transactions and helping them access the products and services that support their financial goals. Requirements

  • 1–3 years of customer service, banking, cash handling, or related experience preferred.
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
  • High attention to detail when working with financial transactions
  • Ability to communicate professionally and maintain confidentiality
  • Comfortable using computers and ten-key calculators
  • Ability to build relationships and provide solutions that benefit members

Responsibilities

  • Welcome members and provide exceptional service in person, by phone, and electronically.
  • Process deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and other financial transactions accurately and efficiently.
  • Provide account information and assist members with questions regarding credit union products and services.
  • Open and maintain member accounts, including assisting members who are not physically present.
  • Process and disburse member loans.
  • Balance your cash drawer and daily transactions while researching any discrepancies.
  • Assist members with online banking access and general account service needs.
  • Identify opportunities to recommend products or services that may benefit the member.
  • Maintain accurate member records and follow all credit union policies and procedures.
  • Support branch operations through administrative tasks such as answering phones, scanning, filing, and data entry.
