About The Position

The Part Time Member Service Data Analyst will perform a variety of duties to coordinate and support data management and data entry for the Club’s Membership Program.  This will include frequent communication with parents’ of members and collaboration with various departments. To effectively collect and process membership data, the Data Analyst is responsible for gathering, entering, and preparing information/data from various source documents into the appropriate database system for storage, processing and data management purposes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferred.
  • A minimum of three years experience in managing database in a non-profit agency or Boys & Girls Club; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Demonstrated skills in multiple software programs, including but not limited to Salesforce, Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and the Internet.
  • Must demonstrate exceptional communication skills by conveying necessary information accurately, verbally and in writing using graphs/charts, listening effectively and asking questions where clarification is needed.
  • Must be able to work independently, prioritize responsibilities and use time efficiently.
  • Must be able to maintain confidentiality.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and meet assigned deadlines

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for timely and accurate entry of membership information into MyClubHub, a Salesforce database, including new member enrollments, demographic updates, program participation, and other updates as necessary
  • Interpret data and analyze to provide ongoing reports
  • Develop and Implement databases, data collection systems, data analytics and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality
  • Monitors ongoing measurement of membership attendance, in various program areas, to track progress and maintain levels of program quality
  • Work with management to prioritize business and information needs
  • Locate and define new process improvement opportunities
  • Reviews data entered against the original source documents for accuracy and corrects any data entry errors or duplications.
  • Follows data program security practices and procedures at all times
  • Performs other varies clerical duties such as sorting, filing, emailing and proofreading as required.
  • Provide administrative support to the VP Education & Well Being
  • Provide guidance and training to database users
