About The Position

Legacy Community Federal Credit Union is looking for the right candidate to join our team as a full time Member Service Coordinator. This role is not entry level and does need prior front line teller experience, head teller experience preferred. Legacy is committed to assisting our members in the greater Birmingham area at one of our eleven branches . Additionally, we are proud to be the official credit union of the University of Alabama at Birmingham. We want to help our members Craft their Legacy by providing products and services to our members that help fulfill their financial needs. This is a full time position, with the standard hours being Monday through Thursday from 8:30 am - 5:00 pm, and Friday from 8:30 am - 6:30 pm . In this Member Service Coordinator position, we rely on you to direct frontline employees while effectively assisting our members and potential members with their Credit Union needs. This role provides expertise with respect to more complex Credit Union services as well as setting up new accounts. The MSC will need to respond to problems and direct members and front line employees to the appropriate department. This role is not entry level and prior frontline teller experience is required, head teller experience is preferred. This role does require check acceptance experience and the ability to confirm proper guidelines are followed.
