About The Position

The Member Center Team Lead at Honor Credit Union is responsible for overseeing the Member Center Team while performing teller and member specialist duties. This role emphasizes exceptional member service, operational efficiency, and team development, ensuring that the member center operates smoothly and adheres to company policies. The position requires a strong focus on building relationships with members and fostering a positive team environment.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Must be or become registered as an MLO and have a Nationwide Licensing Number.
• Three to five years of similar or related experience, including preparatory experience.
• Knowledge of company products and sales policies and procedures.
• Demonstrated ability to keep finances in order.
• Excellent communications and public relations skills.
• Well organized and attentive to detail.
• Willingness to assist others.
• Strong typing abilities.
• Able to use PC, calculator, and office equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform Teller and Member Specialist duties, including membership opening, loan requests, and cash handling.
• Lead and act as a subject matter expert to the Member Center Team.
• Motivate, mentor, and develop the Member Center Team to ensure exceptional service and operational efficiency.
• Communicate, update, and implement new processes and procedures for the Member Center Teams, making recommendations for improvement as needed.
• Safeguard the integrity of the Member Center, ensuring policies and procedures are followed and the member center is operationally sound.
• Build rapport with members to sustain long-term relationships and grow continued business.
