Nucor supports its teammates with top-tier benefits like Medical, Dental, Vision, and Disability Insurance, 401K and Roth accounts, Profit sharing, Pay-for-performance bonuses, Paid parental leave, Tuition reimbursement, Stock program, Scholarships and more.     Basic Job Functions:The Ladle Wall Operator is responsible for safe and efficient performance at the ladle wall at all times.  Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Management of all ladle refractory Coordination with LMF team, Ladle Cranes, EAF team, and Caster team on in-service ladles Coordination with Bricking team on ladles Ensuring ladles are in good, safe working order for use in shop Review and mastery all refractory procedures Maintenance responsibilities of the refractory area Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.

Requirements

  • Previous Ladle Refractory experience.

  • Mobile equipment experience

Responsibilities
