About The Position

Skana Aluminum is on the hunt for our next Melt Cast Technician – a fearless, detail-oriented, safety-first champion who wants to turn up the heat (literally) and help us create top-notch aluminum slabs!
Responsibilities
- Move, transfer, and store aluminum slabs
- Manage metal flow and send dross packing.
- Assist or lead the transformation of molten aluminum into slabs, fine-tune casting settings, and keep molds in check.
- Load furnaces, add flux/hardeners, monitor temperatures, and perform the all-important skim-and-puddle routine.
- Keep our molds, machinery, and controls in top shape.
- Suit up in PPE, follow Lockout/Tagout rules, and keep safety a top priority
- Guide your team, train your crewmates, and bring fresh ideas to make our operations even better.
