As a Senior Analyst you are responsible for strategic projects to improve order fulfilment processes, order monitoring, data management, distributor score-carding, inventory management support activities, and compliance to quality requirements for the Medical Devices & Diagnostics distributors. You develop and maintain strong relationships with internal business partners to include Commercial Channel Management, Finance, Distribution, Transportation, Chargebacks, CSS, Contracting, GS CRM, and Deliver Revenue as well as external partners to support key programs, projects, and initiatives. Developing the overall logistics relationship with targeted customers and applying lean tools/concepts to optimize the analysis, development, implementation, and monitoring of supply chain/operational efficiency initiatives. Provide superior, expert support to focused external customers and internal cross-functional customers supporting the Medical Device business, with primary focus on the Distributor Class of Trade. Working in a team environment to optimize the end-to-end customer experience and support customer relationships. Proactively identify problems and develop scalable and repeatable solutions while serving as the focused customers’ advocate.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of proven experience
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
  • Strong eye for business and supply chain understanding
  • Customer-centric approach, with strong collaboration skills
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically and implement approved strategies to drive value for J&J and customers
  • Lead and manage advanced projects to improve customer experience and drive supply chain efficiency.
  • Excellent problem solving, analytical, influencing, and communication skills
  • English Fluency is required
  • Minimum Bachelor's degree

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with Distributor or Hospital Customers - Preferred
  • Work experience in a highly matrixed organization - Preferred
  • Lean, Six Sigma, or Process Excellence certification or training
  • Experience working with SAP preferred
  • Knowledge of Tableau, Power BI, and other analytics tools
  • APICS certification is helpful
  • advanced degree or focused degree in Supply Chain or Business - Preferred

Responsibilities

  • Drive business review meetings to proactively identify problems, conduct root cause/trending analysis, and develop/implement short and long-term solutions using knowledge of products, processes, and contacts to meet business plan objectives.
  • Support the development of end-to-end core capabilities and competencies (e.g. analytical tools, score carding, account-customized dashboards, process optimization, continuous improvement) to generate new business insights and support base business activities.
  • Lead and manage advanced projects to improve customer experience and drive supply chain efficiency.
  • Provide specialized support to account and distributor class of trade-wide requirements to enhance customer relationships.
  • Develop account and distributor class of trade-wide plans and action items to positively influence the customer experience measured by ease and effectiveness.
  • Mines and analyses data across multiple data sources to identify cost, efficiency and / or effectiveness opportunities
  • Present data in a format that allows management to make strategic decisions, i.e., creation of an executive summary; use of PE tools and concepts to analyze/drive process improvements as appropriate.
  • Conduct troubleshooting and root cause analysis for complex issues using company-specific knowledge of products, processes and contacts and develops recommendations for resolution.
  • Lead timely and effective resolution of supply chain issues impacting Distributor customers.
  • Other department projects and initiatives as applicable.
