About The Position

Inside the Role Join the Medium Duty & Vocational Segment Strategy team to set DTNA’s direction to dominate the medium duty and vocational market! This team is DTNA’s primary group to collect and communicate the voice of the customer to the organization. As a member of this team, you will have responsibility of becoming an expert in your assigned segment and set the strategy to grow market share and unit sales. To accomplish this you will be required to directly interact with customers, dealers, internal sales, product marketing, pricing, and marketing communications to implement your strategy within each assigned segment. We Take Care of Our Team What You Drive at DTNA Develop strategy for market share and unit sale growth for assigned segments (Vocational Tractors, Right-Hand Drive) Define customer journey map for each segment Team go-to for Powertrain related topics Plan and facilitate MD & Vocational End-User Customer Council Complete and maintain SWOT for competitors for assigned segment(s) Collaborate with Segment Strategy Manager in identifying product, price positioning, marketing, communication, and/or training needs to achieve growth strategy/targets Work with customers, dealers, Sales, Marketing, CAE, Service, Quality, Engineering and other teams to collect and evaluate requests for new projects intended for US, Canadian and International markets. Create project justification, volume assumptions, pricing strategy, business case, project scope, and competitor overview. Have a proven ability to analyze and interpret data, discover opportunities for further investigation and develop proposed solutions to business challenges. Knowledge You Should Bring

Requirements

  • BS/BA and 5-7 years of relevant experience is required
  • Travel up to 30% required
  • Ability to work well under pressure with multiple high priorities
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Ability to make sound project decisions with minimal guidance
  • Ability to analyze data and draw conclusions
  • Ability to clearly communicate with management and senior management

Nice To Haves

  • A degree focus in Engineering or Marketing is preferred
  • High efficiencies in Microsoft Office Suite of products
