About The Position

This position is responsible for the delivery of medication supplies and medications. MISSION: Improving lives, Optimizing wellness, Promoting independence

Requirements

Minimum High School Education or GED equivalent is required
Must be at least 18 years of age or older
Must have excellent verbal communication skills and demonstrate the ability to interact clearly and effectively with both internal and external customers
Must have a current Colorado Driver’s License and driving record must be in compliance with Company policy.
Must maintain current automobile insurance
Must have the ability to operate delivery vehicles in a variety of road and traffic conditions

Responsibilities

Picks up medications from designated medication room, including medication supplies and medication planners.
Will meet designated med room staff to obtain assignments of delivery items.
Pick up medication from the local pharmacy and deliver to Rocky Mountain Health Care Services or participant as needed.
Delivers medication supplies and medications in a 2 locked tamper-proof system to specified participants.
Maintains safety and cleanliness of assigned vehicle and coordinates the scheduling of vehicle maintenance with the Transportation Department
Submits safety checklist report weekly to the transportation department
Drives vehicles in a safe and responsible manner utilizing defensive driving skills and in adherence to company policies and procedures, following assigned routes
Provides support to other departmental positions as needed
Assists Manager and staff with compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and standards
Performs other duties as assigned
