PM Medication Nurse (LVN/LPN)
About The Position
Waters Edge Lodge and Elders Inn are currently seeking a PM Shift Medication Nurse to join our esteemed Nursing Team. Compensation: $32.75 per hour, paid bi-weekly Role Description: The Medication Nurse plays a crucial role in wound care, diabetic management, and medication management. This is a full-time position working a 4-on, 2-off rotation on the PM Shift (2:30pm-11:00pm). We are combining two part-time positions to make a single, full-time position. About Waters Edge Lodge: Waters Edge Lodge is a licensed 101-apartment assisted living community located in Alameda, CA. Our residents enjoy an independent and active lifestyle in a stimulating social atmosphere. Situated on the lagoon of Harbor Bay, our community offers numerous walking trails and is adjacent to Harbor Bay Landing Shopping Center. About Elders Inn: Elders Inn is a licensed 52-suite assisted living community in Alameda that specializes in Memory Care. Elders Inn offers every resident the opportunity to live as independently as possible, accommodating assistive equipment, including wheelchairs, with short distances to dining, activities, and enchanting secured courtyards.
Requirements
- Current, valid CA nursing license
- Minimum of 12 months experience or equivalent education in the healthcare field
- Ability to communicate clearly with elderly residents
- Ability to work compassionately with individuals with cognitive impairments
