Medication Aide- The Village at Northridge
About The Position
Senior Resource Group-SRG has been an innovator in the development and operation of senior living communities across the USA for over 30 years, winning awards for innovative community design, excellent service and exceptional care. This full-time Medication Aide position is for the NOC SHIFT (10PM - 6:30AM) and includes weekends. The anticipated wage range is $20.00 - $21.00 per hour. The role involves assisting and/or administering medications to residents as prescribed by a physician, documenting all medication management information, notifying LVN/LPNs of negative medication reactions, and managing medication refills and record updates.
Requirements
- Experience as a caregiver
- First Aid/CPR certified
Nice To Haves
- some course work or training in medication administration
Responsibilities
- Assist and/or administer medications as prescribed by physician to residents.
- Document all medication management related information.
- Notify LVN/LPN of any negative medication reactions.
- Assist and/or manage all medication refills.
- Update records as necessary.
