The Assistant Director, Financial Service assists the Director in maintaining a complete and systematic set of records for all accounts receivable transactions for the community. Assist in directing the accounting functions in accordance with the current acceptable accounting and cost reimbursement principles relating to the rehab and long-term care industry. Utilize knowledge of nursing home billing: Medicare, Medicaid and Managed Care. Other duties as required.
Requirements
- Four or more years’ experience in bookkeeping or accounting practices in the healthcare industry
- Thorough knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid and Managed care billing practices in a long term care setting.
- Excellent command of Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to work well in a team and individual contributor environment
- Strong organizational and communication skills
