What it's like to be a Medicare Broker Coordinator at Medicare Broker Coordinator As a key member of VillageCare's Business Development team, the Medicare Broker Coordinator will drive the company's distribution channel sales goals and objectives. This dynamic role involves executing targeted marketing strategies that enhance recruitment, onboarding, engagement, production, and compliance adherence for an assigned independent agent and broker network. You will manage broker relationships, oversee compliance, conduct application audits, facilitate training sessions, and monitor field activities to ensure optimum performance. In addition, you will be responsible for distributing essential marketing and sales materials. Reporting directly to the Director of Broker Management, this position covers a diverse territory throughout New York City's five boroughs, as well as Nassau, Westchester, and Putnam counties. Be prepared for occasional overtime and weekend commitments to ensure the success of our Medicare Business Development initiatives. Would you be a great Medicare Broker Coordinator? To thrive as a Medicare Broker Coordinator at VillageCare, candidates must possess a combination of relevant experience and essential skills. An Associate's degree is preferred, along with a minimum of two years in a health-related field, particularly in marketing and selling managed Medicare or Medicaid products. Familiarity with Medicaid/Medicare, D-SNP, MAP, and Managed Long-Term Care (MLTC) product lines is critical. A well-established network within the healthcare provider community and an existing book of business will support your success in this role. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel is required, especially for generating reports and analyzing data using pivot tables and formulas. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential for effectively engaging with a diverse range of providers, including doctors, nurses, and administrative staff. Flexibility to travel throughout the tri-state area and occasionally work weekends will further enhance your ability to fulfill the responsibilities of this impactful position. Bilingual candidates are preferred.

Requirements
