About The Position

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a skilled Medical Technologist (MT/MLS) to join a high-performing laboratory team within a leading acute care hospital. This role involves performing a full spectrum of laboratory testing—from waived to high-complexity—across multiple departments. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring accurate diagnostic results and supporting clinical decision-making for patients across all age groups.

Requirements

• Experience: Minimum 1+ year of recent Blood Bank experience in an acute care/hospital lab ( required )
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology or related science
• Certification: ASCP (MT/MLS), CLS (NCA), or equivalent ( required )
• Strong expertise in high-complexity testing , lab safety, and best practices

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-analytic, analytic, and post-analytic testing in accordance with CLIA standards
• Analyze and validate test results; investigate abnormalities for accuracy
• Maintain quality control , reagents, and laboratory equipment
• Support training and education of lab staff and students
• Participate in process improvement initiatives and implementation of new technologies
